Portobello Road Prize

Look what was waiting for me when
I got down the stairs to our communal
entrance Yesterday evening.
It was my Husband that alerted me
to it being there, 'There's a large
package for you down stairs' he
shouted...wow...a large package for
me ? and here's me thinking 'I've
been forgotten about, but no, my
prize is here :D I had the biggest
smile on my face once again when
I opened it up.  I have to get a
couple of cj's and some atc's out
of the way first before I can start
to create anything with this
gorgeous Portobello Road Kit.
Thank you Papercraft Inspirations
for this wonderful prize  xxx

Anything goes June atc swap

Here are my atc's for the June swap.

A Girls Best Friend
Hope you like June swappers :-)
There sort of  based on the song
'Diamonds are Girls Best Friend' from
the 1953 movie 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'.
It started off as a burberry, high fashion type
of  atc, but having seen the white gloves it gave
me the idea to colour them pink and then
from this 'A Girls Best Friend' began.

Card for the Queen competition entry.

The pic's of my card entry is a copy i've printed
out to add to a scrapbook of the Diamond
Jubilee celebrations which I will be doing on the
cold Autumn and Winter nights.  I entered the
original card, which was created using the Craft
Artist digi software by Daisy Trail and The papers
and embellishments used to make this card
are from the digi kits 'British Street Party' and
'Cool Britannia', for the Papercraft Inspirations
Competition 'Card for the Queen'.  I decoupaged
the original card and added diamond gems to
finnish off.  My entry was chosen a long with
14 other lovely entries and i'd been buzzing
all day about it when I found out and for the
prize for all of the winning entries is a set
of  Portobello Road goodies...and i'm
eagerly awaiting the arrival of mine as i'm
sure the others are too :)

A View From Cj

Here are some pic's of my new
'A View From' circle journal.

For some reason I don't have a pic of my
double page layout...D'oh...lol...I hadn't been
feeling very well when I took the photos,
but here is what i've re-done.  Oh, before
I forget, i've used envelopes for my new
circle journal and lugguage tags for
sign in.
